Landon serves as Chairman of the Board at Base 11 and is a seasoned operator and corporate strategist, bringing 25+ years of experience in maximizing revenue, increasing earnings, and strengthening the brand reputation of start-up ventures and large, multi-national public corporations. As an expert in business innovation and strategic market development, Landon has served as president and CEO for a diverse set of businesses in the real estate, technology and financial services industries including four ventures that he led at First American Financial Corporation (NYSE: FAF), an $8 Billion multi-national FORTUNE 500 real estate information services company.

His senior management roles included president & CEO of First American VMS, a technology platform and outsources vendor management services company, founding president of the First American Homeownership Foundation, and president of the strategic markets division where his strategy drove an increase of 32% in market share growth in the companies targeted emerging market segments.

In his recent role as CEO for Base 11, Landon designed and led the organization’s strategic vision and growth, which resulted in the national expansion of the company’s STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) regional ecosystems. Under his leadership, the company developed a strategically integrated talent development model that produces vetted pipelines of diverse engineering and computer science talent for large cap corporate and federal government clients and a strategic deal flow pipeline for early stage venture capital investors. He expanded the company’s foot print from one to twelve markets in under three years and launched the largest liquid fuel rocketry competition for college students in the world, the $1Million+ Base 11 Space Challenge with a network of over 30 participating universities across the US and Canada.

Landon earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA. He also successfully completed advanced management and executive persuasion training programs at Stanford University, and the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University in Cambridge, MA. He resides in Seattle, WA with his wife, Dr. Michelle Flowers Taylor.
